Shoutcast – Supernatural World Internet Radio Streaming Options – Which Software To Connect?

Firstly though you must have an agreement with us regarding your own show (or station), if you don’t have one yet or your just interested to know more about streaming your own show then get in touch.
SimpleCast :-
is a commercial product and you will need a license from Spacial Audio – SimpleCast from Spacial Audio.
- Runs on Windows
- Supports ShoutCast and IceCast with more options.
BUTT (broadcast using this tool) :-
This is a FREE product and can be found on the SourceForge SVN, BUTT – http://butt.sourceforge.net/
- Runs on Linux, MacOS, and MS Windows
- Supports IceCast and ShoutCast
Edcast – This tool is no longer developed or supported, the author has also removed some parts from the SVN and so you may not find a complete version easily.
- Runs on Windows
- Supports IceCast and ShoutCast
- Can be installed stand-alone or as a plugin to Winamp
NiceCast :-
NiceCast is an amazing little tool, it connects into your iTunes for streaming music amongst other devices (audio cards for mics, mixers and more). NiceCast – http://www.rogueamoeba.com/nicecast/
- Runs on Apple Mac
- Supports ShoutCast and IceCast, it can also run its own server.
There maybe other options out there such as using SAM Broadcaster, however these options above are our favoured ones, they are also fairly simplistic to set-up and use.
